EFILE Issues
Hi, thank you for using Intuit ProFile Community
Line 55080 is on the EFILE page. The line is completed by ProFile based on entries on the RRSP screen:
The entry above shows $10 posted to line 12900: this is entered by ProFile on the EFILE page
The error is likely caused from an incorrect HBP repayment entry or an invalid RRSP repayment assignment. The CRA efile help desk could provide you with more information; you can find the phone number for your area at the following link:
Hope this helps

I'm Having a similar issue. I am unable to efile because it states Error:
2252-Line 24600 on the Schedule 7 and or line 58830 on the form RC383 for contributions designated as a repayment under the home buyersplan cannot be less than the minimum repayment required. Where the client has elected to include the funds withdrawn into income on line 12900, enter the HBP participant repayment amount on line 55080.
The numbers are all "0" which is correct. Please advise how i can resolve this issue

Hi, thank you for using Intuit ProFile Community
You need to check with the CRA e-file help desk. This sounds like CRA is expecting to see an amount for home buyers plan repayment.
Hope this helps

What I have found out is that the numbers for the HBP have to match the CRA numbers or it gives you that error. Go to the CRA account and double check the amounts in the tax return to match what the CRA has. That solved my problem.

also watch that they do not have RRSP---"from previous years" included from CRA import--they will not let you use Previous years to pay off "current" HBP
I also find that the
previous years" amount is usually not really there--I have 1 client that they keep putting $7,568 in as previous years--I have left it there with a warning to my client it does not exist and should not be included for the past 3 years--cra has allowed it every year and continues to put it there again this year---this year I did not include it--if CRA wants to include it that is on them now LOL
