I can’t EFILE an authorization request
As of February 26th 2021, I can’t seem to EFILE an authorization request this year. I’m getting efile error T808: The Efiler number must be authorized to transmit an authorization or cancellation request. I’ve efiled a number of returns this year already and checked with the efile help desk to assure that my number is a valid. I’ve had my efiler number for a number of years and current version is 2020.3.0. Is anybody else having this problem?

Hi, thank you for using Intuit ProFile Community
CRA is indicating you have to log onto your CRA e-filer account and indicate you will be filing authorizations for your clients.
Hope this helps

EFILE Issues
Hi,
Thanks for the response but I’ve never had to do that before. I have used my Rep ID number and or my BN (Business number) to submit the 1013’s and the new form for all my clients. I can still access the list of clients on the CRA website under both those numbers.

Hi
I also logged into my efile account under maintenance and nothing has changed under efile authorizations which has a tick mark to indicate yes.

Unfortunately this is a response from CRA and not a ProFile issue that all users are experiencing. Maybe check with the CRA e-file help desk for further guidance.
I apologize for the inconvenience

You require the REP ID on the Authorization form but Profile puts in your E-File code\number, which is not correct. Override the entry & manually put in your REP ID
