My expenses appear as deposits when reconciling. Do you know how to correct that?

Hello, ICONEVENTS.
Thank you for choosing QuickBooks as your accounting software. Let me help you correct the transaction in QuickBooks Online.
If you're referring to the expenses that appear as a deposit on your Banking page, then you'll need to exclude them. Those were forwarded to QuickBooks by your financial institution, and QuickBooks doesn't have control over them. You can refer to this helpful article for the steps: How to exclude expenses from downloaded bank transactions.
Furthermore, you’ll need to manually record these transactions in QuickBooks so that you can still successfully reconcile your account.
Let me know if you have more questions about this. I'll be happy to help you some more. Stay safe!

Thank you. I realized they showed up as credits/deposits because when I uploaded the transactions via spreadsheet, the numbers were formatted differently. Had to change the format to "numbers" so the numbers would show as positive and negative numbers. Thanks for your quick reply!
