Welcome to the QuickBooks Community forum, Regan.
While we’re unable to confirm whether there is a specific issue between FNB and QuickBooks Online (QBO) due to the public nature of the Community forum, there are alternative steps we can take to ensure we address the Error 105.
This error occurs when QuickBooks is unable to connect with your bank’s website to download transactions, and there are several possible causes and solutions you can explore.
First, you'll have to update your FNB bank account manually. Follow the steps below:
- Go to the Transactions or Accounting menu and choose Bank Transactions.
- Then, click Update.
Next, log in to your bank’s website to check for any issues. Here’s what to do:
- Look for alerts, messages, or notifications that might explain the problem.
- Check your account info, transaction history, and balances. If you can’t access these, there might be a connection issue between your bank and QuickBooks.
In such cases where the error still occurs, sign in to QuickBooks using an incognito or private browser, or use other browser troubleshooting methods.
If the issue persists, contact our live support team for further assistance. They can provide guidance on the next steps.
For now, you can manually upload your bank transactions to ensure your records remain accurate. Once the connection is fixed, QuickBooks will automatically download your new transactions. Just make sure to exclude the ones you uploaded manually to avoid duplicates.
