Convert your data from QB Online to QB Desktop, and you can use the trial version to access your historical data for good. Then, start your QBSE from scratch and import your historical bank data.

Hello, traveler1966.

Finding the right software for your business is crucial, so I'm here to help you transition from QBO to Solopreneur and ensure you don't lose any of your valuable data.

There's no direct export-import feature that seamlessly transfers all your QuickBooks Online data into Solopreneur because these are distinct programs designed for different business needs. While it's currently unavailable, you can export your data from QBO and manually import it into the QuickBooks Solopreneur. For the data that cannot be moved, save it locally for future reference.

To start the process, follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the Gear icon, then select Export data in the Tools column.
  2. Choose It's a backup for the reason, then select Continue.
  3. Set the date from the Pre-selected date ranges dropdown menu.
  4. Add or remove items from the Reports and Lists tabs by turning the switch on or off.
  5. Click Export to Excel, then OK.

Since you want to return to Solopreneur, you'll need to cancel your current QBO subscription. Once done, sign up for QuickBooks Solopreneur and manually import your data.
