Thank you, Sasha!
I appreciate the link and hope that this will work out!
I will use it/ contact QB tomorrow, when I can make the time to be on the phone with customer support.
Again - thank you!

You're most welcome, @Sunshine1510.
I'm happy to know that our colleague was able to addressed your concern about receiving email verification codes in QuickBooks Desktop.
We appreciate your patience as you work through these challenges, just post them here again. We'll be pleased to help you further. Have a great day ahead.

Well, truth be told, the verdict is still out!
It would only be truly resolved, if my main email address (the one registered with my QB account) would receive the emails with the verification code, which it doesn't.
In addition, I will only know tomorrow (when I'll try to get in touch with QB customer support) if the DataProtect issue can finally be resolved as well.
But I do like your optimism!

"I could agree to contact the QuickBooks Desktop Live Support Team once again to address this concern further. Let me help you with the steps."
You could agree? with who? Have you ready all that I've posted? I've talked to these people for hours over 2 years and your solution as part of the QuickBooks Team is to contact them again? Then you have the audacity to give me instructions on how to contact them!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
Insane. I want to talk to your supervisor.
