Just an update. September 2023 and there is still no way to easily migrate data from QBSE to QBO. Ridiculous.

Indeed, they either don’t really care about customers that pay little and upgrade as they grow or they don’t have enough skilled people to develop a solution, either way just shows how in 2023 a company can be so closed minded and ignore such basic functions that they hurt themself by looking like this to their own customers

I know the inconvenience of not having the option to migrate from QuickBooks Self-Employed to QuickBooks Online.

With that, I recommend sharing this product suggestion with our developer's team. They'll review your idea and will collate additional propositions from other customers.

Here's how you can share your ideas:

1. Click the Gear icon.
2. Under PROFILE, select Feedback.
3. Enter a few words.
4. Click Next.

As a workaround, you may look for a third-party application that can help achieve this goal. While I'm unable to recommend one, you can browse our Apps page to scan some apps that work best with your company.
