Can I delete the data in my QBO Accountant version and start fresh?

I have found instructions on how to do this in other versions of QBO, but it specifically says DO NOT use those methods for accountant version. I linked my account to a bank account I no longer use, to get a feel for QBO to help clients. Now I am trying to transition to using QBO for my practice, but I've got all this old data kicking around in it.

Welcome to the Community. QuickBooks Online is a versatile program that's designed to help you streamline your business. I'll be happy to share more info so you're on the right track with accomplishing your QuickBooks goals. 

 

At this time, there isn't a direct way to purge your data in QuickBooks Online Accountant. This process is only available in the QuickBooks Online version. I recommend looking into third-party apps that can help you with this process. You can search for these apps on our app store by visiting www.apps.com. I suggest choosing an app that suits your business needs based on the app description and reviews.

Account Management

I think it's about time this VERSATILE application allowed Accountants to easily and quickly delete clients' errors in mass.  This is a major shortcoming of this software.
