I need help creating a custom report

I would like a custom report to be sorted by a custom field, Open Balances, and to only show active customers. I am working in Advanced.

To generate a report sorted by a custom field, specifically Open Balances, and filtered to display only active customers, please follow these steps: 

 

  1. Navigate to the Reports menu in QuickBooks Online Advanced.
  2. Select Custom Reports and click on +New Report.
  3. Under the Columns section, customize the report to include the desired fields, including the custom field for Open Balances under the More Columns 
  4. Save and run the report to view the customized data set based on your specified criteria.

 

Currently, the specific option for selecting active customers in the current customization settings is unavailable. However, you can use an alternative approach by utilizing the Balance for the Customer option to achieve a similar outcome.
