How do I edit statement layout to have invoice number with date, amount and balance showing and not the items per invoice showing on the statement

Hi there, regjones. I'm here to assist you in tailoring your statement layout to display the information you need.

Currently, changing your statement layout is unavailable. However, you can pick how your information shows when you print or preview it.

Firstly, if you select the List each transaction including all detail lines as an option, your statement will show items per invoice rather than the details you want.

To correct this, I suggest selecting the List each transaction as a single line. This will ensure your statement features only the invoice number, date, amount, and balance. To achieve this, please follow these steps:

  1. Open your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Go to the Gear icon, then select Accounts and settings.
  3. Navigate to the Sales tab.
  4. Scroll down to view the Statement section.
  5. Click the List each transaction as a single line radio button.
  6. Hit Save and Done.

After following these steps, the layout of your statement will show the information you want.
