Only display customer payments on their Statements.

Good day

I want to send customer statements that reflect their payments only.

Having each transaction displayed is unnecessay.

Please advise how I can do this.

Thank you.

Only display customer payments on their Statements.

I can see how it would be helpful to send customer statements that reflect their payments only, @JSHodson.

Our current system generates customer statements with all transaction details. I encourage you to add your vote for this one by sending a feature request in the Feedback section within QuickBooks. We appreciate your understanding and value your input as we continuously strive to enhance our product and meet the evolving needs of our customers.

Here's how:

  1. Select the Gear icon at the top, then Feedback.
    Capture.JPG
  2. Enter your comments or product suggestions then select Next.
  3. You'll be provided a list of suggested Help articles related to your comment. You can read through them or select Skip and send message.
  4. From the drop-down, choose the appropriate category, then select Send message.

In the meantime, you can run a payment report to show you the payments received from each customer during a specific period.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Reports menu.
  2. In the search field, enter "Transaction List by Customer" and select it.
  3. Click on the Customize button.
  4. Modify the reporting period.
  5. Head to the Filter section.
  6. From the Transaction Type dropdown, select Payment.
  7. From the Customer dropdown, select the customer's name.
  8. Click Run report.

After that, you can save or export it to a format that can be easily shared with your customers, such as PDF or Excel.

Let me know in your reply if you have any other further questions about customer statements. I'd be glad to help you out. Have a good one.
