The VAT control report is unavailable in QuickBooks Online for South Africa region. This is the reason why you're unable to find the report and download its transactions.
Did you create a VAT control account in QuickBooks? If so, you can run a quick report and download it from there. Let me show you how:
- Go to the Accounting menu and select Chart of accounts.
- Look for the VAT control account.
- Click the ACTION drop-down list, then select Run report.
- Beside the small gear icon, click the Export icon.
- Choose Export to Excel or Export to PDF.
You can also customise this report to get a closer view of your business. If you wish to save its current customisation, memorise the report.
