How do i save a quote if I have no option to sellect a tax option?

You'll need to select a tax rate option to save the quote, quint1. Let's figure this out as I help you troubleshoot the app.

Before proceeding, can you elaborate on your concern regarding the tax option? Is the tax column missing, or are you referring to the tax rate or codes? Please know that any additional information can help us provide a more appropriate solution.

Meanwhile, we can perform these fixes to verify if the data stored on your device affects its functionality. Follow these steps to reset it without deleting your app's documents and data:

For iOS:

  1. Go to Settings, then tap General.
  2. Select iPhone Storage, then click the QuickBooks Online app.
  3. Tap Offload App.

For Android:

  1. Go to Menu ☰, then tap More Options ⋮.
  2. Navigate to Settings, then Refresh Data.
  3. Click YES to confirm.

If the issue persists, I recommend uninstalling and reinstalling it. This way, we can ensure that the app is up to date.

It's also worth noting that selecting Exclusive of Tax or Inclusive of Tax in the Amounts are box on the Quote will trigger the message you encountered, as these options assume that it involves VAT. Otherwise, you can choose Out of Scope of Tax if it's not taxable. Check out this article to learn more about sales tax: How do I set up VAT rates and use them on forms? (International QBO).

You may inquire further about tax concerns that come to mind by replying to my post. We'll be delighted to answer them.
