Is there a way to set "SAVE AND CLOSE" as the default action when creating a new invoice? It was previously my default, but somehow (maybe an update?) it has changed.

This is a QBO issue. It is something they changed in the programming. Ironically it happened the same time they came out with that annoying "Send and Fund" function. The challenging work-arounds with QBO are now continuing to grow in their efforts to create new revenue streams.

Mine has been changed back to "Save and Close".  Has everyone elses' changed back as well?

No, mine was change and fund today.  I swear I'm about to ditch QBO.  It is expensive and I'm constantly bombarded by financing and other feature requests just to generate more money for Intuit.

EDIT:  I take that back.  It defaulted to save and fund, but after selecting send and close, it appears that has become the new default (just generated a second invoice).  I'm about to start doing everything manually.  QBO has gotten ridiculous.

southerndoc,

Ha, they've taken those ads to a new level!  One of my employees tried logging in the other day (she has access to Payments only, to use Payment Links), and the net result was nothing but a full page ad - fancy graphics and all that - inviting her to download GoPayment!  I'm being generous in called it an invitation, since absolutely no option to bypass or anything else was given - only to download the app.  She tried repeatedly, and got the same result each time.  I deleted and re-added her user name, and got the same thing.  After going on Community (was told to go to Support) and two Chats, it sounded like nobody even knew what I was talking about.  Luckily, I figured out how to bypass - it was by broadening her access.  Not the solution I was looking for!  So I guess that that's their next step - set up a roadblock so you HAVE to add something before you can even use the software!  I'm seething at the thought of it.

I do like the bulk of the software, but that kind of stuff is too much.

And yes, I still have random options coming up for saving (e.g., Save & New rather than Save & Close).  It's usually the opposite of what I want.  Sometimes I get a lucky streak, though...

Is there anyone who follow up this topic ?
Actually it works to keep last operation before, however now it doesn't work anymore for now.

e.g. "it was and now it doens't work"

1. choose "SAVE AND SEND" and finish operation.

2. next time, open another customer , it shows "SAVE AND SEND"

please follow up this topic function, and hope it solves this bugs.
