how do i create a profit and loss statement that shows each month individually with ytd totals at the end

Hello, Cjentzsch. We can customize your Profit and Loss report to show a detailed view of your monthly figures alongside your cumulative Year-to-Date (YTD) totals.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Reports menu.
  2. In the search bar, type and select Profit and Loss by Month.
  3. Set the Report period to This year to date to display each month's transactions and the running total.

  4. In the upper right corner, select the Compare option, then choose Year-to-date (YTD)  to access a detailed comparison of the data up to the current date.

This will provide you with a clear view of your business's performance each month, along with a column for your YTD totals, offering a comprehensive overview of your financial health.
