Edit customer statement format

Hi there, @csd777.

Just to clarify, are you referring to customizing the customer statement template?

If so, customizing the customer statement template format in QuickBooks Online is not an available option at the moment. As a workaround, you can adjust how transactions are displayed on the statement. You can choose to list each transaction as a single line, include all detail lines for each transaction, or show an aging table at the bottom of the statement. These changes can be made through the Account and settings page.

Here’s how to update the statement display options:

  1. Navigate to the Gear icon and select Account and settings.
  2. Go to the Sales menu.
  3. Click the Edit or pencil icon in the Statements section to open its contents.
  4. Choose the option you want (List each transaction as a single line, List each transaction including all detail lines, or Show ageing table at bottom of statement).
  5. Hit Save and Done.       12625-1.png

Here’s a before-and-after visual reference:

It’s also worth noting that changes you make to invoice, estimate, or sales receipt templates won’t apply to customer statements. However, statements do reflect your company’s logo and font colors from those templates, giving them a personalized look.

Kindly reply to this thread if you have additional questions or if you’re referring to something else. We'd be glad to assist you further.
