Where can I find Categorized transactions that are not showing up in by bank register so they are also not showing up to reconcile? I made sure it is correct bank acct.

While reconciling I was missing transactions. I found them in the BANK TRANSACTIONS and categorized them. After categorizing them, they still did not show up in the bank register or reconciliation page. I have made sure it is the same account.

Any transaction categorized from the Bank Transactions screen in QuickBooks Online (QBO) automatically appears in the corresponding Bank Register, ArizonaSunflower. Since you've confirmed the transactions are in the correct account, follow the steps below to locate it.

There are two ways to find missing transactions in QBO. These include filtering and sorting your transactions. Sorting reorganizes the list by criteria such as date, reference number, payment type, or reconcile status. By default, the most recent transactions appear at the top.

Before proceeding, verify if the transactions show in the Categorized tab in the Banking page. If they are, follow the options below to find them in your account register.

Option 1: Filter Transactions.

  1. On the Bank Transactions page, click "Go to bank register" below the Link account button.
  2. Select the Filter icon, then select the filters you want to apply. You can use the Find field to search by amount, reference number, or memo.
  3. Select Apply.

To remove a filter, click the next to the filter name. To delete all filters, select Clear filter / View All.

Option 2: Sort transactions.

  1. Hover over any column header.
  2. If a Sort icon appears,  click the column header to reorder transactions by date, type, reference, or reconcile status.
  • Sorting can be done in ascending or descending order.
