Buy nowThis question was previously asked, but the answer did not address the actual question. Very simply, when you specify multiple report filters it appears to use an "AND" to join the multiple filter criteria. That is, in order for a record to appear in the report it needs to match ALL of the specified filters.
I need to use an "OR" so that if ANY of the filters match I want the record to be included in the report. Can this be done on Quickbooks Desktop pro 2020?

The option to use OR condition to specify multiple reports is unavailable in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT). I can only imagine how the option would be beneficial for your business. thank you for your quick reply. Unfortunately I thought that would be the answer. As a software developer/designer for 35 years who has worked on numerous applications I can honestly say I've never designed a filter system that did not allow both AND and OR conditions. Of course, it can present some confusion for novice users since you might have to introduce the concept of parenthesis [ (A and B) or C vs. A and (B or C)] but for advanced users it would be valuable.
I agree with ronv1 and hope you fix this deficiency in the QBO report filtering.
