QB Enterprise on Windows 10 after Oct 14 2025

Why do you keep avoiding the elephant in the room? As dozens of QB users have stated in this thread, Microsoft DOES still support Windows 10 after the initial Oct 2025 date IF you extend support for one year. I already PAID Intuit its annual subscription fee for supporting QuickBooks Desktop on my existing Windows 10 workstation. Why would you not LEGALLY be obligated to uphold your agreement to support your software on the continued suport version of Windows 10?

QB Enterprise on Windows 10 after Oct 14 2025

Have you encountered issues?

I am got the extra year of updates and kept my QuickBooks Desktop and my Windows 10.

Now I am at end of year and suddenly my Bank of America transactions will not import, and I am stuck. I have tried everything QuickBooks and Bank of America have thrown at me. Over ten hours worth of research and attempted fixes. Bank of America says it is Quickbooks' fault. The only thing that would make sense would be that I am on Windows 10.

QB Enterprise on Windows 10 after Oct 14 2025

After an hour long phone call with Intuit I have confirmed that Quickbooks is shutting off functionalities for Windows 10 users. They told me to get QB Online or update to Win11 no less than 10 times in 10 minutes and I kept pressing them to give me the answer that they have purposefully shut off this functionality. After she took about 10 minutes to check specifically on whether this functionality still worked, she came back on the phone and said "yeah you will have to upgrade to Windows 11" and I said I did not ask to talk about that I asked if this functionality has been shut off by Quickbooks and finally she just kept repeating the party line of "some functionalities may not work"

So officially as of a few weeks ago, Bank of America Checking will not be able to use bank feed to import transactions in ANY WAY on a Windows 10 machine. Credit cards still work, for now.

@subscriptionssuck

It seems like if you want to keep QB Desktop running on Windows 10, you'll need an importer tool as a workaround. You can use TP for a one-time license for $199 and get $200 cashback from a partner.
