how do I find the audit log in quickbooks desktop?

Head to the Reports menu, then Accountant & Taxes.
Choose Audit Trail.
Beside the Date Entered/Last Modified area, set the field to Custom.
Pick your desired date manually.

You need to purchase a third-party service to remove the audit trail on a file.
