I see that it's an unusual experience on your end not to view your customers and sub-clients when you're looking for them in the Customer's search bar. Allow me to share insights and route you to the best help.
Currently, there's an ongoing investigation (INV-96044) about the customer name not showing in the search bar of the customer list. With that in mind, I recommend contacting QuickBooks Online (QBO) Live support to add you as one of the users affected by the issue. Once updates are available, you'll be able to receive a notification through email.
Here's how:
- Click the Help (?) icon.
- Select Assistant to get a personalized answer, or if you need further help, you can still Talk to a human.
- Select Search to read knowledge-based answers. Then, click Contact Us below.
- Choose the Ask about something else tab, and enter a brief description of your concern.
- Pick either Chat with us or Callback.
