Need Help Finding an Advisor

Hello,

I work for a company based in Indianapolis, and we are currently using Quickbooks Enterprise Desktop, with a remote access servers to get to it.

Currently we have been having issues with the application and servers or both being down at separate times and acting weirdly (Mostly the application is being slow). We are just not happy with the current application state and want to find an advisor to come in and look at our processes and see if we either we can optimize the application or if the online version is better suited for us.

After looking for multiple advisors on the quickbooks website for their list of advisors, most of the people there are either not wanting to do anything for us because we utilize the inventory feature or they are retired.

Is there a way to find an advisor fast that can come in and see what we can do better, or is this a luck situation?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

Need Help Finding an Advisor

Good Morning Stevan11!

Welcome to the QuickBooks Community! Could it be possible that you can extend your search outside of the current zip code you are using to see if you can find a match?

Additionally, please review the checklist below to ensure your system meets the minimum requirements, including sufficient RAM and a fast processor. This helps to improve QuickBooks Desktop response times.

  1. Optimize the company file by condensing transactions and removing outdated entries.
  2. Keep QuickBooks updated to the latest version for performance improvements and bug fixes.
  3. Streamline QuickBooks operations by disabling automatic updates and running only essential scheduled tasks.

In addition, let's use the QuickBooks Diagnostic Tool to automatically identify and fix .NET Framework, MSXML and C++

issues. Here's how:

  1. Download the QuickBooks Install Diagnostic Tool.
  2. Save the file to your local Desktop.
  3. Close any open programs and run the QBInstall Tool.
  4. Reboot the computer after running the tool to ensure the components are properly updated.

Once done, try opening QuickBooks again and see if it works this time. However, if you're getting the same issue, I'd recommend following the remaining solution in this article: QuickBooks Desktop won't open, has stopped working, or is not responding

Please come back to the Community if you have other questions about QuickBooks. I'm here to lend a hand. Have a great day!
