Hi, Hello255.
If your October earnings reports are missing, even though you've been invoicing as usual, this may be related to how QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) tracks income. QBSE generates reports based on a cash-basis system, meaning that income is only reflected when payments are received, not when invoices are created or sent.
Here's how you can identify and review any missing or unreviewed payments:
- Go to the Transactions tab in the menu on the left side.
- Click the dropdown▼ beside Type: All section.
- Select "Unreviewed" to filter transactions that require review.
- Review the list for missing payments.
- Ensure these transactions are marked as Business Income. If not categorized, they will not show up in reports.
Please note that if the payments are still missing, manually add the transactions, ensuring you enter the correct payment amount, date, and categorize them as Business Income.
Additionally, if the transactions do not appear in the "Unreviewed" column, check your bank’s website to confirm there are no ongoing system updates or maintenance.
