Online app won't allow you to choose tax code when creating invoice or estimate. Getting pretty sick of this. New update is horrible

Online app won't allow you to choose tax code when creating invoice or estimate. Getting pretty sick of this. New update is horrible

I understand how challenging this is for you, @getgrowing. Since you cannot choose the tax codes when creating invoices and estimates, we can proceed with the troubleshooting steps to resolve this concern.

 

Before anything else, please note that after the QuickBooks update, any data and settings you've already set up will remain unchanged.

 

If you are using an Android Device:

 

1. Go to Menu ☰, then tap More Options ⋮.
2. Tap Settings, then Refresh Data.
3. Tap YES to confirm.

 

But If you're using iOS, here's the steps:

 

1. Go to Settings, then tap General.
2. Tap iPhone Storage, then tap the QuickBooks Online app.
3. Tap Offload App.
4. This will free up the storage without deleting your app's documents and data.

 

Once the data refresh is done, please try choosing tax codes in your estimate and invoice again.

 

If the issue persists, consider accessing your QuickBooks Online account directly through a web browser on your device. In this method you can access your account and continually perform your QuickBooks tasks from there.
