Does anyone else have problems with National Bank disconnecting from QuickBooks? It happens more frequently than I would like and curious if there is a solution to it.

We are a Canadian company that uses National Bank as our new bank for the last year. Prior to switching, we never delt with QuickBooks disconnecting but now it happens at least once every two months. Anyone else have the same issue and tips on how to deal with it?

Before anything else, did you encounter any specific error message when your QBO disconnects? Any additional details or screenshot would be helpful to provide an accurate solution.
 
First, please check your bank's website for any ongoing updates or maintenance. Sometimes banks do system updates that can temporarily stop QuickBooks from connecting.
 
If there's none, I recommend contacting our Live Support Team. Let them know about the disconnections and share any error messages you found. They can help check if there’s a problem between QuickBooks and the National Bank that’s causing the issue.
 
Here’s how:
 
  1. Click Help in the upper right-hand corner of your QuickBooks dashboard.
  2. Go to the Search tab.
  3. Type in your concern, then press enter.
  4. Click Contact Us.
  5. Choose between Chat with us or Have us call you.
