For some reason one of my pay periods have skipped so I'm missing a week and the dates are a week ahead now. Can you please help me solve this problem Thank you

Welcome to the Community, Ahsley!

 

You can adjust the pay period dates within a pay run to be able to pay the skipped week schedule. Let me guide you how. 

 

  1. Click on the Payroll tab.
  2. Click on New pay run.
  3. Select the pay schedule, and under the pay period ending date, select the date missed. The Pay period start will auto adjust based on your pay schedule.
  4. Select the Pay date.
  5. Click on save.

 

If you have a unfinalised pay run, use these steps below:

 

  1. Open the pay run and click on the Pay Run Actions.
  2. Click on Adjust Pay Period.
  3. Select the Pay period ending date of the missed pay run.
  4. Select the Pay date.
  5. Click on Save.

If the dates are valid the pay period will be updated. That's it! You've now adjusted the pay period and paid the missedpay run. Finalise the pay run when ready and lodge them to the ATO.
