Hy, I would Like to add new account type for expenses but I can not add it there is no customize option for it. if you can help with this it really appriciated Thank you

Hello sahanimamata369,

 

We can only customise the account name when adding a new account to the chart of accounts. As long as you select the correct Account type your reporting should be correct.

 

Here's how to add new account to your chart of accounts:

 

  1. Click on the Settings icon.
  2. Click on Chart of Accounts.
  3. Click on Account type and select Expense.
  4. In the Detail type select the account that best fits the transaction you wanted to track.
  5. Under Name field, enter the expense name you wanted to add.
  6. Click on Save and close.

That's it! You've added the new expense account in your Chart of accounts and ready for use.
