How do I CHANGE my software provider for ATO electronic lodgement to Exactor in Quickbooks Online ?

Let me help you update your service provider for ATO, @mborkman.

First, let's remove your current service provider so we change it, Exactor. Once done, you can follow these steps to update your software service provider:

1. Go to: ATO Access Manager.
2. Sign in to the ATO Access Manager using your AUSkey or myGov account.
3. On the left of the dashboard, choose My Hosted SBR Software Services.
4. Click Notify the ATO of your hosted service.
5. Select Exactor* from the list of software service providers.
6. Enter your software ID (found in QuickBooks inside the Connect to the ATO screen) and click Next.
7. Review the information and click Save.
8. Back in QuickBooks, select the I've set up the ATO connection box, then Next.

You can also perform pre-BAS checks before beginning any lodgement to ensure data accuracy. Just follow these steps below:

1. From the left menu, select GST, then choose Prepare BAS.
2. Review your GST obligations. QuickBooks will display the total sales (including GST), total purchases, GST collected on sales, and GST paid on purchases, then click Next.
3. Manually input or review the Income Tax installment amount being paid with this lodgement**.
4. If your installment amount needs to be changed, tick I need to adjust the installment amount and adjust accordingly, then click Next.
5. After reviewing the complete activity statement, click Mark as lodged to close the tax period in QuickBooks.
