Can we correct our December STP that has already been lodged and accepted by the ATO. Can we cancel the lodgement and later lodge the correct December STP. Thanks

Thanks for posting in the Community! We can't cancel an STP if it has been lodged to the ATO. If you would like to make changes on a pay run, you can unlock it or create an ad hoc pay run. Once done, you can create and lodge an update event to report any changes to employee year-to-date amounts previously reported to the ATO.

Here's how to create an update event:

1. Select Employees from the left navigation.
2. Select the Reports tab.
3. Select Single Touch Payroll (found in the ATO Reporting column).
4. Select Create update event.
5. Select the appropriate Financial year and Pay schedule, then select Create.
