In the past, when I have added a Square App Tranaction, I have been able to match that deposit in my bank account with the added transaction. I am now no longer able to do this, and only my current Quickbooks invoices appear.
Reviewing the transaction can help us to identify the specific transaction that'll match the added Square app transaction, Joelfirns.
It is important to review and verify transaction details to ensure they match the specific transaction, as there are similar transactions recorded in QuickBooks.
There are some reasons why you can't match your Square app transaction if:
The amount differs due to fees or discounts, or you need to match multiple payments deposited as a group.
The record’s happened more than 90 calendar days before, or 20 calendar days after the transaction date.
The record has been reconciled. If that happens, you should exclude it since it can't be matched.
If you can't match the transaction, we can perform a manual search for other matches.
Make sure that the filters were applied correctly to avoid hiding the transactions. For example, by checking the transaction date range and selecting the All option to show all transactions in the Filter by section.
