How to disconnect an expired bank card connection?

we use bank connection to feed card transactions so that they can be categorised. However, once the card expired and you have new card and you connect it. The old card connection is still showing up and saying its not connected. How can we delete the old connection so that it does not clog up the screen.

How to disconnect an expired bank card connection?

I'll guide you on disconnecting your expired bank account, Josephine.

When you disconnect an expired card’s bank account, you’re stopping either the direct feed or the standard feed for that particular account, helping keep your transaction list clean and organized. Make sure your new card is set up with the appropriate feed type for smooth transaction updates.

To remove an expired bank card connection and prevent it from showing on your screen, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Bank transactions tab.
  2. Select the bank account associated with the expired card.
  3. Click the Pencil icon at the top right of the account.
  4. Choose Edit Account Info.
  5. Scroll down and check the box labeled Disconnect this Account on Save.
  6. Click Save and Close.

Please note that your account will no longer appear on this screen, but it will remain active in the Chart of accounts tab. To make the account inactive, refer to the To delete a Bank account from your chart of accounts section for detailed instructions: How do I delete my Bank Account?.
