The Commonwealth Bank (CBA) NetBank logon approval flow adds an extra layer of security when connecting your account details to QuickBooks. Many users handle this by keeping their NetBank app or device handy during the initial sync.
To successfully connect your CBA account to QuickBooks, log in to your NetBank account. Then, complete the verification process using SMS approval or the CommBank app.
If the connection fails, double-check or ensure that you've completed the approval process within the time frame.
Without completing these steps, QuickBooks will not be able to sync your data successfully. Please know that the system depends on your bank's connection to update transactions.
If you want to connect your CBA account to QuickBooks Online via Direct Feeds, please know that this process currently supports only personal and business banking accounts.
